Fab Finds: 2017 Travel Bucket List
Did you all have a good Christmas?! I sure did!! Now that the holidays are slowly simmering to an end and 2017 is quickly approaching, I can't help but put together a travel bucket list for this upcoming year. I didn't get to do as much traveling as I wanted to do this past year, so I want to make it a goal to travel as much as I can in 2017!
1. Lanikai, HI
One of my friends has been going here for years and has been telling me that I need to go, SO we decided 2017 is the year!! We're going to make it happen one way or another, get ourselves there and stuff our faces with all the Poke we can!
2. New York, NY
I haven't been to New York since Spring Break of 2006 so I'd say I'm due for a trip! I think this is such a fun city with so much life and most importantly so much food to explore!! However, the most important thing for me to do on this trip would be to see the newly renovated 9/11 Memorial & Museum. The last time I was there, it was full of flowers and letters which was heartbreaking to see. This is most definitely on my bucket list.
3. Portland, OR
I have been dying to go to Portland for so long and I don't know why I haven't been yet! It's really not far from California and I just KNOW I will love it! Being a big foodie and a photographer, how can I not?! Also, I want to go in the Fall, because, duh.
4. Wilmington, NC
Why Wilmington you ask!? Well, it's the film location of one of my all time favorite TV shows ever...ONE TREE HILL!!! Ever since the show finished airing in 2012 I have ALWAYS wanted to visit here! I think it'd be so much fun to walk around and see exactly where they filmed the show, and a bigger plus, not have to be on a back lot or a studio!
5. Charleston, SC
Now let's make our way on over to SOUTH Carolina! I always thought it would be fun to go to Charleston and visit all those gorgeous plantations. The mansions out there are absolutely stunning and to see them in person would be a dream!
6. Miami, FL
Time to spice it up! Ever since I binged the show Dexter (sense a theme here?!) which is based in Miami, I really wanted to go there! The show didn't do anything to glamour up the city for me, but for some reason I became completely intrigued with everything about Miami. I love a good cultured city with everything from food to music and I'm PRETTY sure Miami will fit the bill just fine!
7. Mykonos, Greece
How can this NOT be on my bucket list!? Whether I get to go this year or not, I'd like to keep trying! I have been wanting to go here for a long time! Let's just say...no explanation needed!
8. Chicago, IL
One of my all time favorite cities!! I would love to visit Chicago and not have to go for work, that way I can spend more time exploring the city and less time stressing about work! Also, I would probably spend every day at Eataly, my favorite place in the city!
9. Seattle, WA
This past year I was lucky enough to go to Seattle twice to visit one of my best friends, and since then I've had ANOTHER friend move to Seattle! SO, it looks like Seattle will be seeing a lot more of me this coming year!
10. Nashville, TN
Nashville...this city has been on my bucket list for quite some time now! Talk about culture, I honestly can't wait to visit here!! So much history within the music industry right here and I can't wait to see it all!
BONUS: Disneyland
We're gonna bring it all the way home back to Cali and head to Disneyland!! I was supposed to go this past year and just couldn't make it work with my schedule, so 2017, it's happening!!
