Happy 4th Birthday...to My Pups!
Some mama's throw their children birthday parties, this fur mama throws her PUPS birthday parties! On Saturday, yes, "TAX DAY" my little pups turned four and I decided this year I wanted to do something a little crazy...bake them a puppy cake! I've kind of always secretly wanted to do it, but also found it slightly silly. This year however, I threw my hands up in the air and said "what the heck!? I'm gonna do it!"
After researching many recipes and figuring out what was the healthiest, safest and most puppy-approved cake, I stumbled upon what I think was the perfect birthday cake for my little fur babies! Thanks to Love From The Oven, the pups went to TOWN and enjoyed their special cake!
(Sidenote: It was pulling TEETH getting them to take a picture next to the cake! I think they thought it was going to eat them...until they sniffed it, hence Bix's face and Kiki's lack of appearance! haha)
CLEARLY Bixby dominated the cake eating contest! My sweet little Kiki is a just a bit camera shy, sooooo there's that! I eventually got her to enjoy a big chunk of that cake, so don't you worry!

I know they had NO idea what was going on, but this was a special moment not only for them, but for me as well! Having them in my life has changed me and made me a better person. I love you my sweet babies!!
