Fab Finds: The Manhattan Steakhouse
On Wednesday, we had the pleasure of celebrating my brother's birthday by having dinner at The Manhattan Steakhouse, and let me tell you, what a hidden gem we have here in town! Everything was outstanding from the drinks, to the food and most importantly to the service! Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating, especially our wonderful server Katie!
Somehow, I'm always the designated appetizer orderer for every family or group dinner, so I decided to order the following items from their AMAZING menu:
Fresh Mussels & Clams
Chorizo, white-wine, garlic, shallots, chopped herbs, and citrus broth served with grilled crostinis
Almond Prawns
Deep Fried, field greens with a honey mustard dipping sauce
Smoked Salmon
Cream Cheese, capers, avocado, boiled egg, and red onion served with grilled crostinis
Sausage & Cambozola Cheese
Sausage of the day, whole grain mustard, roasted shishito peppers & grilled crostinis
As you can see, everything was so beautifully plated and not to mention delicious!! Oh, and those Almond Prawns were to DIE for!! We ate them too fast for me to take pictures! lol
Up Next...
Grilled Caesar Salad
Hearts of romaine, pancetta, toasted bread crumbs & Parmigianno-Reggiano
I think I'd call myself a "Caesar Salad Connoisseur" because I genuinely appreciate homemade caesar dressing! I've made it before and it makes ALL the difference! It's so so good. That being said, their caesar salad has to be one of the best I've ever had! Not too salty, just perfect!
Now for the entrees...
I had the Park Ave. Filet , medium-rare, which included melted blue cheese, hash browns and vegetables. It was SO good, cut like butta, but just you wait until you see what Randy ordered...
32 oz. Bone-in "Tomahawk" Ribeye
Argentinean Chimichurri, hash browns & vegetables
Do you SEE the size of that steak compared to his hand!?! It. Was. MASSIVE! Let me tell you though, the flavor of that hunk of meat was out of this world!! Oh, and I'm not joking when I tell you, HE ATE IT ALL! Oh yes he did! The pups benefited from that bone too, so they were very happy!
So next time you're trying to decide where to go to dinner for date night, girl's night, for a birthday celebration or for happy hour, don't forget about The Manhattan! You won't regret it!! They also do private dining and special events! SO MANY OPTIONS!!
Ara had the best birthday and we all had such a wonderful time celebrating as a family!! Cheers to another year full of good health, happiness and love!
