Fab Finds: Super Fun Weekend Recap & Music Mondays
Happy Monday!
Boy did I have a busy weekend! As mentioned here, Friday was my mom's birthday, so we decided to order a massive amount of delicious takeout from Westwoods BBQ and it was perfect! No dishes to do and no stress of cooking! We ordered from the "Wheel O'BBQ Feast" menu and there was so much food!! I definitely over ordered as I tend to do because I think I have a fear of not having enough food...which is never the case. Everything is so delicious there, but if you try one thing, GET THE BURNT ENDS. They are heaven. Trust me on this one.
After dinner, I surprised my mom with a homemade Peanut Butter Chocolate Cheesecake! (More on that later this week) My mom absolutely loves cheesecake, so I wanted to be adventurous and try something different and let me tell you, it was a slam dunk!

On Saturday, we attended a fundraising event that benefitted Animal Compassion Team and it was a beautiful evening! I'll share more details about the event tomorrow!
The weekend continued with a very fun bridal shower that consisted of lots of laughter shared with some great friends on Sunday afternoon! After that, I made my way over to the Fresno Chaffee Zoo! I hadn't been to the zoo since I was a lot younger and the zoo has come a LONG way since then! It's remarkable! I was so impressed with what they have done with the grounds and how PACKED it was! We literally had to park in the overflow parking lot...at 3pm! That's crazy! I'm excited to go back and venture around more and really learn more about all the exhibits! My personal favorites this weekend...the kangaroos and goats.
Lastly...Game of Thrones... Three words: HOLD THE DOOR. Agh.
