Martinis & Mistletoe Cocktail Party!
Hi friends!! I'm sorry I've been MIA the past couple of days, but as you all know this time of year is CRAAAAZY!! All last week I was busy prepping for my big annual Martinis and Mistletoe cocktail party, and this year was a little more challenging considering I just came off shoulder surgery. With that said, I got it all done with the help of my wonderful friends and the party was an absolute success and SO much fun!!
This year I decided to cater my party food instead of making EVERYTHING mostly due to my shoulder situation and I gotta say, it was an EXCELLENT idea! I still put together some yummy appetizers, but you really can't go wrong with chowing down on tacos all night, am I right?!
Every year, I put together a MASSIVE sweets table with goodie bags for all my guests to indulge on throughout the night and fix a bag to take home with them to enjoy later on. It's probably one of my favorite things I do for my party, and I gotta say, it's quite impressive! It's fun, it's interactive and EVERYONE loves it!

Yes, those M&M's have Bixby and Khaleesi's faces on them!! The reason you may ask!? Well, this year I decided to create a charity game that people could play throughout the night where my guests would complete certain fun activities all while raising money for the charity of my choice. This charity happens to be Animal Compassion Team (ACT), the organization where I rescued my two little babies from. With everyone's generous efforts, we raised $800 for this organization!! I could not believe it!! There was an incentive of course...the winner won $200 to the Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay, not too shabby if you ask me! Everyone was a winner in my opinion! This whole act of giving really warmed my soul and truly opened my eyes to the kindness of people's hearts!
The whole evening was such a spectacular event and I'm so grateful to have such wonderful friends who helped me prep and clean up! We had so much fun and as always, looking forward to next year!!
